Here for you, if you are interested (or if you just came by chance to here) some information about myself.

I was born in 1972 in Erfurt, earlier East-Germany.
My grandpa aroused my interest in photography when I was about 4 years old. I got my first camera and just the prices for developing in that state could stop me from taking heaps and heaps of photos :).
Then, between a age of 15 and 18 I nearly stoped taking photos at all... unfortunately. I made my diploma in communication electronics and worked in this field for a few years. But when the Berlin-Wall was fallen and finally you was able to buy good photo-cameras and you could print you photographs for a "normal" price in a good quality... Photograpy came back into my life, more and more!
First as a hobby then I worked for a few years in a photostudio. I always enjoyed (and still do) taking pictures of people, animales and live-concert photography. But finally I saw my real passion in landscape photography.
So all my 3 passions match pretty good together: photography, travelling and alphaville.
Some of you might know me or my name from the alphaville-anthology "dreamscapes"- some of the live-photos are token from me- or because of 2 calendars which I designed and produced in 1998 and 2001... or maybe just from some of the concerts.

In 2002 I went for a one year holiday to Australia... and it became my second dream (first: La Republica Dominicana). After this year I came back to Germany and could not find any job. So, I started a business with photography & communication electronics equipment. After a short starting periode it was running pretty good. But my passion -landscape photography- came too short... So, now, I'm trying to get this dream (be able to live from landscape-photography) started... might this dream come true...!

my thoughts to alphaville and their music (only in German yet)

Ein Traeumer ist jemand, der seinen Weg im Mondlicht findet und den Morgen vor dem Rest der Welt sieht...

A dreamer is someone who finds their way in the moonlight, and can see the morning before the rest of the world...
